Where it Happens
The facility we use is nestled in a grove of big oak trees on the Mike Booher farm in beautiful Scotts Valley, five miles east of the small town of Yoncalla. Amenities include classrooms
at Yoncalla High School, on site shower trailer, tent space, volleyball, swimming after class, and RV parking. Three great homestyle meals and snacks are served each day.
On the Art of Instruction and Motivation
We offer instruction on fiddle, piano, guitar, bass and cello for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. We've hired the very best teachers--highly accomplished musicians who are
also capable of leading any student to a deeper understanding of music.
A typical day consists of several different learning times: traditional classroom instruction, student practice and jam sessions. Each day's instruction builds up to a public concert
held the last evening of camp. The thought of getting on stage at the end of the week seems to motivate everyone--students and teachers alike--to make the most of their time.
