Daniel Carwile - Fiddle Instructor has won the titles of U.S. Grand Master Fiddle Champion, Tennessee Valley Old-Time Fiddlers' "Fiddle King," and numerous other championship awards around the country. He is owner/instructor, with his wife, Amy, of the Carwile String Studio in Lexington, Kentucky. Daniel has shared the stage with Mark O'Connor, Alasdair Fraser, and Vassar Clements, just to name a few. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music in 1995. A seasoned and diverse performer, his playing is showcased on many albums of well known artists. We welcome Daniel as a fiddle instructor to the Booher Family Music Camp. |

Randy Elmore - Fiddle Instructor Randy Elmore, known as one the most versatile fiddle players and as one of the hottest western swing fiddlers in the country, began his professional career at age 20, traveling the United States and Europe. His sought after talent takes him all across the country performing shows solo and with his western swing band. An “All Around” fiddler, Randy’s versatility and superb execution can take him with ease from playing western swing music to Texas style fiddling and is just as much at home playing jazz, gospel, or classical music. His repertoire is vast and amazes even the best of his fellow musicians in his field. |

Floyd Domino - Piano Instructor A many-time Grammy Award winner, Floyd has performed and recorded with various top name artists such as George Strait and Waylon Jennings. He is currently a free-lance recording and performing artist. Floyd's knowledgeable and dynamic teaching methods are a great inspiration to his students. We are proud to have him back for his 9th year at camp. |

Ben Booher - Private Bass InstructorA great singer and bass player, Ben must know almost every chord there is, and hundreds of old songs to go along with them. Ben will be teaching private bass/bass guitar lessons during music camp this year. Justin is a musician extraordinaire, holding recent titles of National Young Adult Fiddle Champion, NW Regional Fiddle Champion, and Oregon State fiddle Champion. He is the founder and director of Columbia Music School and Fine Stringed Instruments in Kennewick, WA, where he teaches all stringed instruments, piano, voice and music theory. Dick Gimble - Guitar Instructor One of the musical Gimbles, Dick grew up playing with such legenday greats as Bob Wills, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and, of course, his daddy, Johnny. Dick has been a professor of music at the McClellan Community College in Waco for the past 21 years. We are excited to have this fun, warm hearted teacher back for the 7th consecutive year.

Raul Reynoso - Guitar InstructorRaul Reynoso, guitarist, singer and composer, was born in Los Angeles, California. He began playing Bluegrass guitar in 1974, and soon acquired the skills that would earn him two California State Flatpicking Guitar Championships as well as many Western Regional titles. Raul first rose to prominence in the band of banjo-virtuoso Larry McNeely, and his three-year stint with the band included one recording and two appearances on Nashville’s “Grand Ole Opry.” The recent release of Raul’s self-produced CD, “Royal Street,” which features the Rhythm Brothers, has brought Raul international acclaim from Jazz reviewers in the U.S., UK and Europe. The instrumental and compositional skills displayed on this, Raul’s first solo CD, have solidified his position as one of the world’s greatest guitarists. Through his own compositions he has created his own style, which encompasses the best in “Jazz and World Music.” As music critic Jim Hilmar put it: “When it comes to guitar styles… Raul Reynoso’s clean, lithe, articulate picking technique is ‘to die for!’” Recently featured as cover story in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. |

Brice Voetberg - Fiddle InstructorEnthusiastic about tackling challenges, twenty-year old Brice Voetberg enjoys meeting the varied needs of students. A piano teacher since the the age of 14, Brice is also the pianist in her family’s band, traveling and performing across the West Coast. In 2004 and 2005, she won the title of Piano Representative to the Washington State Music Teacher’s Association Convention and in 2004 she was a competitor in the National MTNA Piano Performance Competition. |

Liddy Voetberg - Fiddle Instructor A musician for all of her life, eighteen year old Liddy Voetberg is the lead fiddle player in her family’s band. A focused and well informed teacher and performer, Liddy has benefited from the instruction of prodigious instructors from across the country and as been exposed to diverse musical genres. She holds the titles of Northwest Regional and Western Open Fiddle Champion and in 2005 she placed 2nd at the National Fiddle Competition in Weiser, ID. |
