New Dates:

July 27-Aug 2

"One Jam-Packed Day!"

- A typical day at camp starts with the morning "wake-up bell" at 7:00 am . A hearty breakfast is served at 7:30 am . Music instruction begins at 9:00

- A break at 10:30 gives students a chance to stretch and grab a snack before heading back to finish the morning session

- Lunch is served at 12:00 . Enjoy this hour and one/half break, take a walk, practice, visit, play games....

- The afternoon session begins at 1:30

- Another break around 2:30...

- Classes are dismissed at 4:00 and until 6:00 there is free time. (outdoor recreation, hiking, sightseeing, elk ranch hay-rides)

- A healthy Dinner is served at 6:00 pm

- Jams begin at 7:30 pm (There will be several different jams going on according to skill levels and interests. Also different instructors will be showcased each evening and there will be opportunities for students or groups to perform as well.)

- We try to enforce a 10:00 pm "lights out", but this really requires the efforts of parents/guardians. As you probably know it's hard to turn musicians "off"!

- Every effort is made to keep the camping and dorm areas quiet after 10:00 pm

- Friday's schedule is a little different with the afternoon session being a recording time. All the fiddle instructors will play tunes taught during the week for recording purposes

- Friday dinner is a special BBQ at 5:00 followed by the annual "Scholarship Fund-raiser Concert" at 7:00 pm . This concert is open to the public and is a good time to invite friends and family members to see what an awesome week music camp is!
