Monday Night Event: Instructors’ Concert
- Each instructor performs, with a choice of back-up musicians.
Tuesday Night Event: Family Band Performances
- The talented families that come to camp take turns entertaining us with their best tunes. All families are invited to perform.
Wednesday Night: Open jamming
- Chairs are set up in concentric circles for a big group jam. Everyone is encouraged to bring an instrument and join in the fun.
Thursday Night Event: The Famous Band Scramble
- A favorite event at Booher Camp! All the students get in on the action. Earlier in the week Ben Booher "scrambles" up students from all classes and forms bands from them. From beginning to advanced, fiddles to cellos, students of all instruments are in each band. Class instructors help each scrambled band arrange a tune for the night’s entertainment. It truly is a highlight of the week.
Friday Night Event: The Booher Family Music Camp Scholarship Concert
- We work toward this throughout the week. All the students and teachers participate in an action- packed show, showcasing the highlights of the week's instruction. The Booher Family is also featured during the evening. Proceeds from the concert go to next year's scholarships.
Saturday:
- After a hearty 8:00 breakfast, music camp is officially over. Tents are taken down, last photos are taken, good-byes said. It is lonely at first when everyone leaves and all is so quiet on the home front . . .
